In my opinion diet plays a huge role in kidney disease. Not only are there dietary restrictions such as salt intake but with a chronic disease eating healthy helps you to feel healthier.
Henry's health is so important to me. When he was a baby I made his babyfood from scratch, we eat 80% organic and are committed to giving Henry the best food there is. We're not perfect and don't try to be but I believe that knowledge is power and I try to read as much about nutrition as I can and attempt to cook recipes that are made from fresh ingredients.
There is a pdf on pkdcure.org that you can find HERE. It talks a little bit about PKD and Nutrition. Of course it varies greatly by each patient and depending on what stage of the disease a person is in they should alter there diet according to what their doctor or nutritionist suggests.
